Co-Owner

Carmine began cutting hair in 1966. In 1975 he bought a barber shop in Hicksville, and gradually built it into a men’s and women’s salon. In 1991, having outgrown that location, he and his family opened Kimera in its original location, the Bethpage MarketSquare. After building a successful core of hairstylists, he began sharing his years of expertise not only with the Kimera team, but with other members of the industry, as a HairAmerica Educator for the National Cosmetology Association, and an Artistic Educator for Matrix.

In the salon, he divides his time catering to his loyal clientele and working with the staff to expand and perfect their skills in cutting, coloring, and styling.

Co-Owner

Tony has been cutting, coloring, and styling hair since 1994. He joined the National Cosmetology Association, where his talents were soon recognized, being bestowed the Vidal Sassoon New Talent Award in 1995. In 2000 he became a HairAmerica Educator, and in 2001 a Master Artistic Educator with Matrix, and since then has taught advanced classes in cutting, coloring, and styling across the Tri-State area, and at industry events in Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando, and Las Vegas. He has also done haircutting and styling for editorial photo shoots, and his work has been featured in Modern Salon and American Salon magazines.

He divides his time in the salon between taking care of his clients and working with the staff to develop and improve their skills.

Co-Owner

Silvana has been cutting, coloring, and styling hair since 1981. She embodies the “client comes first” mentality, paying attention to the smallest detail.

She believes that clients are like guests in her home, and she goes out of her way to make them feel as such.

She specializes in men’s haircutting, but can also provide beautiful hair coloring, cuts, and styling for her female clients.

Hey guys, I’m Debbie! I’m proud to say that I’ve been a part of the Kimera family for 26 years.

I am great at listening and we will work together to find the perfect style for you. I enjoy coloring and highlighting. I also provide haircuts for both men and women.

When you have a special event, you can count on me to get creative with an updo style.

I can’t wait to meet you and make you feel beautiful!

Stylist

Michael became a hairstylist in 1970 and joined the Kimera team in 1996.

In the 1970’s Michael was the co-owner of Sunshine Scissors, located in Roslyn – one of the first Unisex Salons on Long Island. He has trained with Paul Mitchell and Rusk.

He provides haircutting, coloring, highlighting, and texturizing services for male and female clients, and specializes in long haircutting and precision placement of highlights to complement the finished look.

Hi everyone! I’m MariJo!

For 16 years I’ve been doing exactly what I was meant to do. Creating beautiful colors and styles to enhance my guests’ natural beauty. I love doing all different colors and cuts but blondes are definitely my specialty.

It all begins at the consultation where I will carefully sit with you until we’re on the same page to ensure you have an awesome visit!

Hey guys! I’m Alexis and I can’t wait to start your hair journey with you! I believe that when you look good, you feel good—and I want you to feel great. I specialize in long hair but I am not limited to it. I have a passion for coloring services such as root touch-ups, glazes, and traditional highlighting, as well as balayage, foilayage, and babylights. I love haircutting as well. I had focused mainly on blowout styles in the past, but with the encouragement and support of my co-workers, I now have a passion for hair coloring, highlighting, and haircutting.
